I really like my Ethernet AC Controller. Its probably the most useful thing I’ve built. So when I decided to give PCB manufacturing a try, it was a good candidate for an upgrade. I wanted to create an application I could use to turn my air conditioner on from the internet. An easy option might be; an X10 module (assuming it supports your required load), or an ethernet power controller like this. I own the latter, but I wanted to try something different.
